HARLEM SCHOOL OF THE ARTS

2009 - 2010
Developed curriculum and coordinated activities/ workshops. Taught weekly art classes for toddlers within Harlem School of the Arts building and was a Teaching Artist for their Arts in Education Program and taught at the Mary Walton Child Development Center and Harlem Gems (Harlem Children Zone).

STUDIO MUSEUM IN HARLEM
Family Programs Coordinator and Teaching Artist
I researched, designed and coordinated family programs and all administrative aspects of family programs including Target Free Sundays, Lil’ Studio, Books & Authors, Kids and special programs as directed. I established and maintained relationships with individuals, groups and institutions in an effort to extend Museum services to a wider community. I built and fostered relationships with other arts organizations. I promoted and recruited for all Family Programs such as administration of programs including ordering supplies, documentation, submitting artist’s payments, etc. and writing end of year reports. I worked in collaboration with Cool Culture, Laundromat Project and Bank Street College.
